During my career as a Driving Instructor--I have personally assisted in excess of FOUR HUNDRED STUDENTS in preparing them & presenting them for A DRIVING TEST. When the Student is ready for the DRIVING TEST we present the student for the TEST using the Car provuided by the DRIVING SCHOOL. In most cases the student prefers to use the car provided by the Driving School, as it is the vehicle they have become assustomed to driving when doing the Driving Lessons with the Driving Instructor. We have a very high success rate with our Students due to the preperation lessons that I provde for the Student's prior to the driving test.
Due to the experience I have accumulated over the Years, I can pinpoint the important issues that the Student needs to be aware of in order to be SUCCESSFUL in their efforts to pass the DRIVING TEST. (in the vast majority of cases our students passed the driving test on their FIRST ATTEMPT) with an emphasis on being A SAFE, CAREFUL, & FOCUSED, COMPETENT, DRIVER who demonstrates that they understand the ROAD RULES & REGULATIONS, and this is evident by the way they are driving the motor vehicle.
I must stress however, there is no need to be unduly concerned if the Student does not pass the driving test on their first attempt. Sometimes , it's because the student is unecassarily NERVOUS and this causes them to make a mistake. It is a part of human nature that we all make mistakes when we are nervous. So, what we do is: we take a deep breath : Fix the mistake. Practice the manouevers over again and then go back and have another go at the driving test a couple of weeks later. When a student fails the test ,we can go over the error that has occured & which caused the student to fail & then fix whatever it was.
The elation the student feels when they pass the test varies from on person to another. It is usually the student who had to go for the test a second time that shows the greatest excitement. The pent up expectation that occurs when the student has put in so much time and preperation for the event, (which is the driving test) can at times, make for a very Emotional experience. The feeling of achievement is just a FANTASTIC TO EXPERIENCE. I HAVE PASSED THE DRIVING TEST & THE STUDENT IS VERY ELATED, AND EXTREMLY HAPPY.
